We all want to help the environment and ‘Go Green’, in order to do this the government are encouraging us all to switch to Electric Vehicles (EV) in order to achieve the net zero targets for the UK.

The Government are also offering installation grants for home chargers and workplace chargers. Grants are only offered by the government for installations installed by OLEV accredited installers of which Zolec are. The grant is dependant upon the type of vehicle you purchase. ie. Hybrid or fully Electric.

We want to help you adapt to this change as smoothly as possible by offering installation of various types of charging facilities for your home or workplace.

Although you can occasionally charge your car using a standard 3 pin 13 amp socket, this is not recommended and should only be used as a last resort to avoid overloading the power to your house. We highly recommend installing a specific charging point that is suitable for your new Electric Vehicle. The benefits of a custom charging point are:
